Earth is home to lots of wonderful wildlife, but sadly, some species that once called our planet home today no longer exist. These are known as extinct animals. All that remains today of the beautiful dodo bird are bones and skeletons. They were once chubby and flightless and lived close to the country of Madagascar. The dodo bird is also family to pigeons.
