Vacation Assignment #3 (Comprehension)

(Activity 1) Multiple Choice:  http://www.wackerlig.at/english/english_03/exercises/london/london_03.htm The passage below was taken from BSSEE 2017. Suggested time- 25 mins      The mobile cinema was, as the name suggests, a cinema on wheels which travelled around Barbados providing education and entertainment. On special nights, a van would arrive with a generator which provided the power for the projector and loudspeakers that were mounted. A large white screen was also set up. This work completed the car park at Fairchild Street Market, or any large pasture in one of the country districts to become a temporary outdoor cinema for the night.           At a time when there were no television sets in the home and limited entertainment, people were happy to have an evening out with friends at the mobile cinema. They travelled with the then popular outdoor seating which might have been a wooden bench, an old sheet or a crocus bag to spread on the ground to make themselves comfortable.
