T est tubes Test tubes are used to hold the liquids upright and are kept in test tube stands, as they can't hold themselves straight because of the curved bottoms.  5.  Beakers Glass beakers can withstand high temperatures, therefore they are used in laboratories for performing various experiments. 6. Dropper A dropper is mainly used to transport small amounts of a measured volume of liquids to chemicals.
