Remember:

Divide by the bottom. 

Multiply by the top. 


 Find two-fifths of 55. 



Find three-fifths of 60. 



Find one-fourth of 48. 


4. A man has $120. He gives 2/3 of it to his friend.

b. How much remains?


5. A laptop costs $250. I only have 1/5 of the money. How much money do I have?


6. A box holds 440 toys. 3/4 of the toys are for girls.

7. I weigh 150 pounds. My sister weighs 3/5 of my weight.  How much does my sister weigh?

Tourism Tourism means people travelling to places outside of their usual home.  A tourist is anyone traveling for fun, business or visiting relatives. A tourist must stay at least 24 hours but for less than one year. There are different types of tourists. First, a domestic tourist is a person who spends at least one night away from their normal home but still within their own country. Some people call this a ‘staycation’.  Then, there are regional tourists. This is a tourist who travels within a certain region. For example, a Barbadian visiting Jamaica.  Suppose you really wanted to visit New York and see the Statue of Liberty. Then you would be an international tourist. An international tourist is someone who travels across international borders.
