        Step 1:       48 ÷ 4 = 12

        Step 2:     12 x 7 = $84

1. A website charges a fixed amount for each song download. You can download six songs for $4.68, then 

a. How much would it cost to download one song?

b. How much would it cost to download ten songs? 


2. Five devices together cost $5680.50. 

a. What would be the cost of one device?

b. How much would I pay for 9 devices?


3. Find the cost of 16 books if 7 books cost $63. 


4. Carl is paid $60.12 after working for 6 hours. Calculate how much he would make after working 8 hours. 


5. In 5 hours, a car has driven 340 miles. At this rate, how far would it go in 17 hours?



6. The cost of 2 chairs is $72.80. 
a. Find the cost of 1 chair.
b. Find the cost of 12 chairs.


7. Nine toys together cost $450. How much would a person pay for 15 of these chairs?

Tourism Tourism means people travelling to places outside of their usual home.  A tourist is anyone traveling for fun, business or visiting relatives. A tourist must stay at least 24 hours but for less than one year. There are different types of tourists. First, a domestic tourist is a person who spends at least one night away from their normal home but still within their own country. Some people call this a ‘staycation’.  Then, there are regional tourists. This is a tourist who travels within a certain region. For example, a Barbadian visiting Jamaica.  Suppose you really wanted to visit New York and see the Statue of Liberty. Then you would be an international tourist.
