 Elements of a Perfect Narrative


  • Setting - Where is your story set? 
    • Highlight all the senses (What does it sound like/ look like/ smell like/ feel like?)

  • Characters - Who is your story about? What do they look like? How do they behave?

  • Conflict - What goes wrong? How do your characters react?

  • Solution- How is the problem solved? How do your characters feel?

         Activity 1: POSTER CREATION

Assignment: Create a poster on one of the topics below:

A.  The government of Barbados hopes to improve the eating habits of school children. This means limiting children's consumption of sweet drinks, candy and junk food at school. Create a poster to encourage your classmates to eat healthier. 

B. The government of Barbados hopes to encourage Barbadians to be kinder to the environment. This means reducing wastage, littering and using materials which do not pollute our seas. Create a poster encouraging your classmates to be kinder to the environment.
