Helpful Tools for Story & Essay Writing

Most stories have a beginning, middle and end.

In the beginning, establish your setting and characters.
In the middle, you could add conflict and a problem to solve.
At the end there could be a dramatic rescue. The ending could be happy or sad

Setting Examples:

1. The first spring of 1946, he had stumbled out of the darkness of war and into a Florentine coffee house, where he was served by a waitress truly like the sun: Ophelia Diagilo, dressed all in yellow, spreading warmth and cheer.

2. As they approached the City, the noise and traffic gradually increased.
